However once you take it apart and the documentary is no more and you just listen to them as individual songs, then no it is not her best solely musical effort. In my opinion, Sasha Fierce remains her best musical effort, maybe it seems that Sasha Fierce is now basic or too popish but back then it was an innovative idea for Beyonce to release a double-disc yin and yang record. I mean c'mon it's hard to say that a song on Lemonade is better than let's say Halo or Sweet Dreams or If I Were a Boy or Single Ladies, all being songs so iconic and meaningful till this day. 

I guess I disagree. Songs very rarely make me cry....but "Freedom" did. "6 inch", "Daddy Lessons", "Sorry", "Freedom", "Don't Hurt Yourself", and "Hold Up" could all be radio smashes if promoted properly. They are catchy, but really experimental too.
