idk now that I'm processing it and reading up, I can kinda start digesting and appreciating it, but on a first listen I was like

sia_gif_1_1450178015.gif

I really like Sorry and Freedom and the visuals, but I do think they're a bit extra sometimes. The concept with all the phases is great, but I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't that huge racial statement record people were making it out to be, but that's my own problem lol.

I really don't know how these songs are going to play out on tour. Like, I can't picture it

And I can't at that annoying ass walking/talking tumblr teen Amanda whatever being on the video :awkney:

who will love me when the night is over

SLAY at the production tho.

Let me start off saying I've never heard a Beyonce album in full. Never. I just enjoy her popular songs.

Tracks 1-4 are the weakest. Don't Hurt Yourself is the only bad song imo. The other 3 are good but I wouldn't really listen to them often.

From tracks 5-12 the album gets so much better.

6 Inch, Daddy Lessons, Love Drought, Sandcastles, Forward (an interlude), Freedom, All Night, and Formation are all PHENOMENAL TRACKS. They could've easily been a great EP.

Great album.
