Levine 23,579
BEYONCE' >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lemonade. I really don't like the songs, even the few that i like are 6/10 at max.
Swan Heart 7,382
I'm listening right now and it's quite a decent album. Nothing that groundbreaking, but it's good. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.
Kermit the frog 1,921
I have a couple of things to say about it. First, let's just get the obvious out of the way: I really like her way of releasing new music + she managed to do it twice in a row, she should be applauded for that. I believe this is her most daring album to date, both musically and visually. There were moments I couldn't believe I was watching a Beyonce video. And that departure from a typical hollywood sexbomb image is much appreciated (although she's already been there with Beyonce in some parts). Also, definitely her most revealing album - I could finally feel that I'm watching a human being, not a robot on a mission to make more money. Having said that, Beyonce talking about being poor and unprivileged is a bit cringeworthy. That "betrayal" narrative in between the songs was corny at times in the beginning and towards the end it became unbearable, but I guess not all of that was by her, some of it was poetry? Idk, Maybe I just couldn't relate because I'm not a black woman with a child. Anyway, I can't really judge the music now, I need a couple more listens to do so. What I can say now is that she's really matured, especially in the way she uses her voice now. No song was a real standout for me, though.
