Yea that's why Judas and Dope managed to pull a top 10 , You&I at #6 as if that wasn't farfetched during the time

As soon as I heard it I was immediately hooked. Definitely one of her best and the best on Born This Way.

Just a shame she did not release it as a single, but I guess it would not have been radio friendly. Anyway the 5 singles from BTW should have been:

1. Marry the Night

2. Born This Way

3. Schiebe

4. The Edge of Glory

5. Judas

(You & I as a promotional single), but I guess Gaga would not have met Taylor if it did not have a video, so meh :emma:

1-Born This Way

2-Marry The Night

3-Schiesse

4-The Edge Of Glory

5-Hair or Heavy Metal Lover

Fixed

No no no no no

1.The Edge Of Glory (well recieved would've smashed as the lead and wouldn't effect the era like BTW did)

2.Born This Way (well recieved, very popular and radio friendly, wouldn't screw up the era as bad as it did)

3.Scheiße (well recieved,BR 2.0,but renamed to something more friendly and it will have a radio edit)

4.Yoü And I (Radio friendly did great, she met her husband there, well recieved)

5.Hair (did amazing as a promo single and peaked at #12 with no promo, radio friendly)

Too darn repetitive. Heavy Metal Lover would be a better choice but even that would have flopped.

Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

This song is just what it is - title sais it all.  It's not radio friendly, not relatable (except females and bottoms) , and most importantly not in good taste imho.

You and I was a clever choice!

Honestly if Judas was able to break into the top 10, so would Scheisse.

Forever pressed that it didn't get the video treatment that it deserved

Nobody knows how it'd have done. Everyone wanted Marry The Night and GUY to be released because they were the fan favorites and were "hits waiting to happen". Sometimes the world is not interested in a song or another catchy song grabs the attention of the moment, so that's what happened.

Scheiße is a great song, but Gaga had already exploded with Poker Face, Bad Romance and Born This Way. I think they were not interested in her at that time. Not to mention Alejandro-Express Yourself-Judas trilogy of controversy that totally turned everyone off at that time.

I still think they should've released Marry The Night and Born This Way first to test the waters.

That album had a lot of good songs that deserved attention, that's why Gaga started promoting it since January with Scheiße remix, Born This Way, Government Hooker preview, Hair, The Edge of Glory, Heavy Metal Lover (Gagavision), Americano live in Mexico, etc. and I'm happy she gave those songs their moment.

Yo GagaGaga

At best it would do almost as good as Marry The Night, maybe a little better in Europe, but you're delusional if you think it would match anywhere near the success of Poker Face, Bad Romance, or even The Edge of Glory for that matter.

imo it has the same problem as Heavy Metal Lover, its dragged out and doesn't really have big climaxes, its runway music
