I agree with most points made.. except the last one. Is she supposed to sacrifice elements of her artistry to profit, or to appeal to basic-minded people? & I don't mean that in an insulting way. Attaching meaning to her music will not alienate people... if you simply want to take a piece of music for what is, then you can do exactly that. 

It's more about working on ensuring her releases are achievable/realistic in terms of what she wants to put out during them. Her management, for one, destroyed her during ARTPOP. It crumbled from the get go. I also agree with the point re: her 'look'. They were fun, as usual, but they lacked coherence and the message of ARTPOP wasn't synonymous with the aesthetic she was outputting.

So basically: stick to formula, take everything that made her recent albums experimental or challenging or unique, and throw it out the window in favor of mainstream appeal. I can imagine Gaga reading this article and rolling her eyes the entire time.

wanting any artist to be your music slave is selfish and disgusting. 

I love how people keep bringing up the MC score  I'm sure there are albums you love that got medial scores, and there are albums you dislike which scored high. Just because ARTPOP got a 61 does not mean that there can no longer be a discussion of its quality.

Well, I sort of admire the "I'm right, you're wrong" way you approached this, but unfortunately, you chose probably the worst songs to make your point with. "Venus" is sci-fi pastiche, "Donatella" is (admittedly weak) satire. The whole point of these tracks was to be light and silly.

But again, I'll give you points for gusto.

Me too. I hope she becomes a recluse after LG5. She is such a traditional girl at heart. I wouldn't mind if she released an album every two years or one every decade. It's up to her. I'm cool with whatever makes her happy.

Mozart shouldn't use so many notes.  His stuff is overproduced, the GP will never go for it.  If he flops he'll never get a royal engagement again, so he should play it safe.
