Wow, he must have been a really important part of her life. For how long did they date? I mean Gaga has very few songs as honest about love as BN so I guess he left a mark on her?

Like Ibo said, on and off for a few years, though it is believed Luc was the one who said a few awful things about her.

A lot of her unreleased catalogue and some of her released catalogue is believed to be about him. But a thing to know about Brooklyn Nights is that it was written during the Monster Ball tour, and is believed to be the same song as Charlotte Nights. So it is believed to be a sibling song to You and I.

I don't think Gaga will ever release Brooklyn Nights commercially, Not since she's been engaged. Unless she tries her damned best to make the song about Taylor like she did with You and I. Though it was easier with You and I, since she met Taylor on the set of the music video.

Here are other songs about Luc:

Shake Ure Kitty

Marry the Night

Dirty Ice Cream

Boys, Boys, Boys (unproven)

heavy Metal Lover (unproven)

Again, Again (not sure about)

Fooled Me Again (Not sure)

Brown Eyes

Greatest (not sure, but was written around 2008/2009)

Earthquake

Wonderful (not sure)

Because of who it was written about. Lüc Carl. The inspiration behind pretty much every Gaga song off TF/TFM/BTW. :gaycat:

She also put in the booket of BTW "This for ü " if I remember correctly.

This album is for Ü :green:

I always thought its because she pronounces the "u" as an elongated syllable (sounding of two syllables) in the track.

Doesnt the two dots above a letter mean that?

Idk, I thought it was a nice touch :toofunny:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

No, in German, it's a difference of pronunciation: "u" in German is pronounced as "ou" in French and "ü" in German is pronounced as "u" in French. There are no such sounds in English though

I see. Well, if I recall correctly, there's a certain sound associated with the two dots about the vowel, that changed its sound. Penguino, is an example.. The swooping sound in the "uin" part.

pleasantly confused :toofunny:

Lol thanks for the lesson though, good to know.
