She's not addicted to weed, I don't think she has any real addictions (other than nicotine maybe) but more of a want to get out of her own mind. That means her drug and alcohol usage fluctuates with how she feels. It's the border between people who can heavily drink and abstain easily and the people who become alcoholics. If you use various things as a crutch, you're more addicted to the feeling of relief than the actual substance. It's kind of evident with Gaga's past. She hasn't been heavily smoking weed for ten years. It was all about cocaine for her early on, then she started drinking heavily and then came weed. I'm just saying, her addiction isn't so much one substance, she's addicted to getting out of her own mind and finding a crutch. So what if she has the odd spliff, a whisky or even if she has the odd bump... she knows what she's doing and it's up to her to make the mistake of taking it too far. She's not a hypocrite for indulging in vices because she's never painted the actual substances badly, it's always been about her own frame of mind.
