I was never keen on Amy Winehouse's version of Valerie that he worked on with her and I think The Zutons original was way better (I mean, it's about a guy saying he misses a girl, so it doesn't work if a girl's singing it about a friend). I thought his latest album was very ordinary apart from Uptown Funk, Feel Right, Daffodils, Crack in the Pearl and In Case Of Fire. But really, Uptown Funk's the only true runaway standout. I hope he produces something really good for Gaga. I don't want her to try to recreate Uptown Funk as she'll definitely be called a rip off and it's no good when you try to recreate greatness. Maybe you don't like it because it was overplayed, but it was a different sound for pop culture. And that's not his only song. This is the guy behind Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' aka one of the most acclaimed albums in history. He's the PERFECT producer for Gaga, y'all will see.
