Noah 26,939 Posted April 19, 2016 Share Posted April 19, 2016 READ MY EXPLAINATION, BEFORE YOU COMMENT The Performance starts with her baring her own Image '...If you're looking for Trouble look right in my face' then, 'Gimme More' starts playing and for me, this Song always had an mystical Energy. I mean, she had her famous breakdown before that, she had a complete different Album planned at first, which got scrapped etc. The Song, just feels so weird but in an addicting way. Britney, due to her mental and public Breakdown - was almost a complete different Person. This seemed like the End of 'Britney'. She was overpowered, being let down by love several times, having trust issues etc. yet she releases a Song called 'Gimme More'?. Now, with this Performance it seemed so off. Everything. Her moves lacked the Britney Energy we were used to, and it wasn't because of a Theatrical effect or anything - it was Britney. This shows how fame can break you down. This shows how Britney was 'over', not career wise, but with her own self. She had no Energy left. This Performance is one of the Greatest in Pop History, because it shows what Fame can do to you. I have never seen a Performance with THIS type of Energy before. She wasn't unbothered or anything - she was just without Energy.
