She only has herself to blame really. She started off strong and it was clear people cared for her from her debut then early into the 2010s. She should have never alienated the GP by releasing Born This Way (the single). She took the anti-bullying movement way too serious. P!nk on the other hand was the one artist who seemed to do it right. She released one really great empowering song that appealed to everyone. Gaga tried it with BTW but it just came off as a gay anthem straight out of the 80s d/t the Express Yourself sampling.

True I feel like when she released the edge of glory everyone and all the general public adored her again for a while though but she hasn't capitalised on her fame since then she has just let it all slip away and she is no longer talked about unless people are being nostalgic and talking and listening to her classics. ARTPOP was just too confusing for everyone.

I think she needs to do an era where she's "normal". It would really show an interesting side of her and this year she has already showed the world that she has true talent and it would just really throw her back on top imo.

What I'm saying is that people vividly remember the gaga craze of just over half a decade ago so she can pretty much pick up where she left off because the vast majority of the world obviously knows in detail who she is. But in a couple of years time if she has not had a successful comeback with good music then people will forget about her possibly so how long has gaga got left of being very famous if she is to release no more music? I'm not saying she is not gonna release music because we know she is but at the moment her popularity seems to be RAPIDLY declining.

I don't think most people get it.  You can't stay a phenomenon forever.  She has grown up.  She has moved on.  These days she does what she wants and what makes her feel fulfilled.  she doesn't need to be on top.  She has a lot of money.  She doesn't need approval from the gp.  She lives a lot of the time in California where the sun shines too much.  This way she can beat her depression and leave it behind.  She's in a good place and is very talented and knows she's talented.  She doesn't need to prove anything anymore....to herself or any body else.  I think she's really excited about all the possibilities and opportunities she sees in an acting career.  After she put her soul on the line with her fans and trusted them and told them all that she was doing, and thinking  and touted her albums (like btw and ARTPOP) and  then got treated like crap from her fans and the public......why should she even care anymore. I think her feelings have been really, really hurt.  That is why she has been completely mum about the new album.  Just to get back at her nagging fans, she put out silent videos of her playing the piano and singing.   She has spent a good solid 15 years without much of a break.  She has achieved so so much.  She should do wtf she wants now and not give any f***s.  I wouldn't be surprised if she did what Bieber did and cancel the m+gs.  I hope not.  But sentiments like this and 75% of what's here on this site is part of the reason she doesn't care.

She's still an LGBT only artist, it seems. I mean she got casted for a main role in AHS, a very popular show among all types of people, and yet it seems like only the gays were checking for AHS this season. 

Also she certainly isn't helping her case by releasing songs like Til It Happens To You.
