Gaga songs with bad production?

ARTPOP

I can't stand the way the album has been produced and mixed. The songs have no breathing room because they're all meant to be radio friendly (even though they ended up being far from what anyone wants on the radio) and there's small "details" in the instrumentals that should be brought to the forefront. I don't care for the "you've got to listen to it with headphones" idea. If you make the best parts of an instrumental near silent, you have f*cked up.

I would also say SWINE. The vocals doesn't seems to be mastered (especially the verses) they won't flow with the instrumental. But maybe that's an intentional thing.

ARTPOP tbh. The 'heee-heee's' shoud've been louder and there should have also been a beat during the first half of the bridge. In my opinion.

buy 'Paper or Plastic' by Brooke candy on iTunes NOW!!

definitely aggree on the fact that there's not such a thing as ''bad production'', but many notorious mistakes on some songs. (which sound way better while being performed)

To me the verses in Venus are way too robotic, they need more rythm (like Heavy metal lover, for example). Same goes for ARTPOP (her performance on Jimmy fallon + the Muppets is what the song should've sound like, the piano makes it sound completely different)

Swine lacks energy and Mary Jane Holland has too much noise going on, but that's about it

EGGS-ACT-LEE.

Also, many ARTPOP songs could have had a louder beat + all the things that have been previously said (#Justice4Heehees, DWUW...)

In my opinion she should ****ing start to make flaac. versions of her records happen. D: especially for lg5. The Quality of Sound is so much better in a flaac version, so you have a way to hear the production wether its bad or not

I think it's more that you don't like how the song sounds than "bad production" :neyde: Bad production is that Friday song.

Also, I'm pretty sure this was just a thread to shade ARTPOP :green:

The instrumental on ARTPOP is perfection:emma:

I don't know where you got these kind of ideas from, most of her songs have pretty good productions and even as cheap as the fame, it's productions are all on point

Her problem isn't bad production, it's over-producing, like hair, btw and such

Hmm what do you mean by over-producing in hair, btw? Can you give me an example?

For me it would be

Sexxx dreams (this autotune doesn't sound really good, it's emotionless)

Aura I prefered old vocals

But I think they all are ove produced

+ The whole ARTPOP is extremelly 'loud' compared to her other tracks, and it's extremelly unprofessional I think

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

I feel like most people are just naming songs they don't like. I mean subjectively how many of these are actually "badly" produced...

Anyway I'm surprised that no one has said TIHTY yet.

yes this.

I wanted to write about TIHTY. It sounds like it was recorded in poor quality and also I don't like autotune in some parts.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
