However, this past weekend I was working at a cheerleading competition (I'm a male cheerleader), and I must say Gaga is still very much relevant and desired. Many of the teams performing at the competition were from all over the east coast of the United States and about 50% of the teams had a Gaga song mixed into their performance music!!!! Some songs used included: Applause, Dance in the Dark, Love game, Gypsy, Born this Way, Edge of Glory, Beautiful Dirty Rich, and many more. A lot of my straight friends have Gaga music and for my Spring Dance people requested Paparazzi,Donatella & Bad Romance?! I also noticed every restaurant,store etc. have played Gaga songs.I walked into a Popeyes after driving home from Dallas and the first thing I heard was G.U.Y. ,my mom who is not the biggest Gaga fan was singing Judas and the 3rd most requested song on the radio was Paparazzi,Bad Romance was #21,and Do What U Want was #9 and TIHTY was #13.Its 2009 all over again!
