TS6= PRISM/Born This Way (coming off of peak era, won't flop, but won't be massive either)

LG5= Ray of Light (Gaga's iconic comeback!!!)

KP4= ARTPOP (Will flop)

Bé6= Lotus (Good songs, but no one will pay attention unfortunately)

Br9= Confessions On A Dance Floor (Yeah... she already had a comeback 7 years ago, won't happen again; maybe one good single with a feature?)

Idk...Beyoncé has a lot more support from the GP than Gaga and she comes from a quite successful album, so I really think she could do great with B6...besides, Gaga has kept her fans waiting for a while as well...

Anyway, I wish both find a way to succeed.

Oh wait, I thought you were comparing Taylor & Beyonce. Yeah if Beyonce & Gaga go head to head it may end not as good for Gaga.

Gosh. 1989 came out in 2014? It feels like it was just released yesterday. I guess probably because  half of her overrated album is practically on repeat on every radio station.

Yeah that's what happens when album is fresh, the replay factor is undeniable! :))

If for TS6 we get a Speak Now type of underperformance with a QUALITY album, two Grammy awards and 1M+ opening week sales I'll gladly take it

who will love me when the night is over

She's been all over the place talking about when she may release. I think she's just saying it to get people on their toes. Honestly, I think she'll have a 3 year gap this time, considering she is at her peak. At her level of fame, it's wise to take at least a 3 year gap afterwards. We've seen what happens when you give the public what they want once too often. This constant 2 year release schedule is going to turn around and bite her one day and releasing this year might be that moment. OOTW wasn't the hit it was envisaged to be and the fans have responded with disappointment at yet another contractually obligated tour video for one of the best songs on the album. She's had her time in the sun and now she has to take a back seat, make people miss her again and then come back when their interest has peaked. She's at prime overexposure and annoyance right now - coming back at the usual time will make the public hate her. Besides, the final single's video has just been released. The gap between Taylor's last single and the new lead single release has varied between 4-9 months. The lead single has always been June-September. The last 3 albums have had an August lead single release. Following the length of time between last single and lead single, the earliest she could debut a new single would be August 2016 (not going to happen) and the latest she could wait is December 2016 (worst time to release a new single ever). So, I think she'll just wait around to her usual autumn release schedule, but have it be next year instead of this year.

I really hope she waits. I don't think I can bear another Taylor album this year. If she keeps on making these releases, she's always going to be competing with roughly the same people, whether it's through singles or albums. If you make an album around every 2.5-3 years, you'll still clash with her a bit. I don't like it when artists get a monopoly over when they'll be the top-selling artist (always) and everyone else has to fit around them. It's so self centered and not what music's about. If you feel like making something do it, if you don't feel like it, don't. An non-negotiable album release schedule is ridiculous and stifles your creativity. You can't decide to make a masterpiece and set a date to have it ready in precisely 2 years. It doesn't work like that. Maybe this is partly the reason why she's always struggled to hold down a relationship until now - she's a control freak who never stops promoting and touring.

Cheap thrills

I know that she usually puts an album out every two years but this time she should really lay off till 2017/18 because it's not like her fans would have grown up by then...

This and a decent European tour, either way I can't wait for TS6 :giveup:
