But I think disco, rock, and old school influences, along with Gaga's unique twist, is exactly what created those hits in the first place! We all know Gaga isn't about doing the same thing twice or trying to intentionally replicate the sound of her old albums.

To extend on this let me just add that the most recent song she put out was I Want Your Love, she seems to be working most closely with Nile Rodgers who is known for rock and disco music, and Mark Ronson who makes funky sorta disco music. She also had that little cover of More More More on Instagram, and had that whole scene in AHS about The Countess being the disco queen (IWYL was playing then too. And this scene is obviously Gaga's own input to the writing of the show and character) DISCO DISCO DISCO. She also told fans backstage at one artRAVE she wanted to make rock music.

If you listen closely to I Want Your Love you can hear all these influences. Even though is was originally a disco song, Gaga took it and gave it a Gaga twist (electronic sounds throughout and an electronic break down at 3:09) 

And she also gave it a touch of that You And I/Bruce Springsteen sound Elton was talking about, which you can hear in the backing vocals, and is really apparent when she screams "Have ya ever been in love?!"  at 2:40 does that not remind anyone else of "put yo drinks up!" 

And this isn't even her song, it's a disco song cover, yet you can hear all of that in it.

I'm not saying that LG5 will sound like IWYL, I'm saying... imagine I Want Your Love + You And I + Electric Chapel for one song, maybe another is Bad Romance vs Disco Heaven with a dash of Bloody Mary... another is MANiCURE + More More More... I don't know! Imagine something new...
