That sounds a bit harsh and unfair doesn't it? LM.com didn't work for many, many reasons so you can't really blame people for not going there anymore, including Gaga herself.

The biggest mess that happened on there in my opinion was when everyone started (making up) sad stories hoping Gaga would notice. It turned into a huge self-help therapy board with Gaga doing her best to comment, but prob getting so sad and overwhelmed by it all, she had to stop when her own mental and psysical health was in trouble. It's hard to focus on the fun and inpiring messages when there's a lot of fakery and misery.

I wish the moderators al the luck cause It's very hard to make a website work when Gaga is personally active on there. What happens is people aren't genuine anymore and just post stuff in hope she'll notice it. So many people posted art they hadn't made themselves, made up sad stories as a cry for attention, it got out of control. Kids these days seem to care more about getting attention than anything else, it's sad but true.

Good moderation is key. And a better lay-out where everything is not just about likes. Don't count likes, that just doesn't seem 'Gaga' to me.

I closed my account there because it was so dead. They really need to renovate if they keep it open. No one goes there.

I so agree. Seeing suicidal posts every day was really heavy, and knowing some of them weren't even serious, just looking for attention was horrific.

We already have sites and forums for Gaga fans and they are widely known, so maybe LM can become a place for us to enhance that experience? Sort of like having different contests (such as poetry, drawing or making your own Gaga memes), interviewing a member every week and basically inspiring fans to interact with each other without trying to be attention seeking.

I'd also love more moderation because of reasons others have stated before. I haven't visited in years, but what I think made the site so unpopular was the fact that it wasn't moderated that well. Posts were kinda all over the place (most of them being borderline ****ographic) and Gaga left. I think once you have a community that really embodies what Gaga is all about - bravery, creativity and kindness - she will come back and make it popular again.
