jojuun 4,159
Okay Ladies & Gentlemen, while we're all waiting for LG5 or a sign of life of it's production, we're pretty much all guessing ,predicting but most of all wishing. Today, I got a little carried away thinking about what I would LOVE to see for LG5. It's sound, it's concept, it's visuals. So I present you my imaginary #LG5 era: The Return of SlutGa. Something I have been dying for Gaga to do: go full-on late 90s/early 2000 R&B-pop on us. Think an edgier Slave 4 u, mixed in with elements of dance hall, trap and a slight hint of 90's dance. Music for the clubs, but not your regular fist pumping megafest but the real sweaty ones. Think Jamaican style clubs meets Christina's Dirrty. But of course, Gaga's not just slutty. So I would love for it to be paired with a strong message of female empowerment, letting the world know she's sexier than ever because SHE WANTS to, not because a man told her too. Women's sexuality is theirs to explore and give, not men's to take and Gaga has taken a stand for it in the past already. I'd love to see some more raunchy outfits, performance and also: I'd love for her to return to full-on dance mode and slay some Love Game-esque choreography. I want it raunchy, in sync with a trillion dancer and I preferably want it to be choreographed by Parris Goebel. I am not here for another Richy Jackson choreo. I like him, he SLAYED some epic choreo's for and with her but I am done seeing the same thing. It's like working with the same producer forever, after a while you just crave something fresh and new. Of course this will probably never happen, but let a bitch have a moment of imaginative LG5 era, mmkay? Don't hate on this thread, maybe we could use it to celebrate SlutGa's finest moments? Some of Parris's work: Waddayathink?

Madonna wrote books for children in 2004 and was back to dancing in fishnets a year later and had her biggest era in years when she did it. Hung Up went #1 in 42 countries and it's seen as a classic. Same for Beyonce, she was dropping it low on Jay Z's buckle belt in 2007 and was singing At Last at the Presidential inauguration a year later. Oh and let's not forget Drunk In Love. One doesn't have to exclude the other. I don't want her to turn into a sex doll without an opinion, I want her empowered on that pole. Shakira danced on a pole, so did Beyonce. And they still have pretty "wholesome" images and worldwide success after their "slutty" moments.

ARTPOPchamp 292
Garbage idea. That is the worst possible thing she can do. Everyone is being all slutty and trashy, we don't need Gaga to do that. She needs classic artistic ideas and imagery and music with a classic tone with a side of edginess that focuses on her musical artistic craft, music that is actually music. Music that sets her apart from the rest again, not that follows trends or what we expect. ARTPOP had a sluttiness to it and it backfired, there wasn't much artistry to ARTPOP at all. It is one of the main problems with ARTPOP. And that R&B dance sound of Do What U Want was obnoxious and redundant. If she does R&B, I want actual R&B, that reflects the greats in R&B, like Stevie Wonder and James Brown. She needs to make a complete 180 from ARTPOP, new ideas, new imagery, new direction away from pop and towards a more classic sound like rock, a style that stands the test of time. ALGAYDO 31,498
To those worried that this would be like taking 2 steps back: if AHS didn't tarnish her new image coming off of Cheek to Cheek, then SlutGa should be no problem, right? As long as she doesn't go over-board, that is lol
