That being said however, I think Gaga does like when she's on everyone's tongues but then again it can simply be viewed as trying to grab attention with the generic stuff before returning to music making strong powerful message packed music. She could be tricking the public to pay attention, then boom, now that she has it, she'll make music jam packed with social commentary that strays from the common pop song. Lol No dear, Gaga is not a popstar, she is an artist, a musician, the pop music was a way for her to get her messages and art across and out in the world, we the public made her a popstar and too many of you don't or won't accept her as anything else. Such as a rock star or straying into a new style of music, all you want is same old pop stuff from her, you don't want her to grow in any shape or form. It's always pop pop pop. Let Gaga explore her creativity in whatever shape or sound it comes in, if it's pop, if it's not pop, if it's rock or jazz or something else, be more open minded, don't be such a closed minded pop fan. And I don't think she was scared of ARTPOP 'floping', i think its because the gp didn't appreciate ARTPOP. Like, if I worked my ass for somethink i love, then get **** on for it, of course i wouldn't enjoy doing it again. And so she took some time to work on somethink new. She hasn't been very cutting or edgy since BTW. But, who knows what is in store! ARTPOP was taking the original Gaga and stripping her of everything subversive and provocative, but keeping the eccentric looks. Though, SWINE was amazing and the whole vomit performance thing haha that was cool! I'm not sure what kind of star she wants to be, or if she is even interested in pop anymore, or in pushing buttons or provoking thought. I think right now she just wants to be a grand dame!
