FameHookah 4,615 Posted April 11, 2016 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Idk , she seems so disconected, so unGaga so unfamiliar, lost , directionless, without an specific aesthetic, not that into dance/pop music etc I'm hoping for the worst so i cant be dissapointed again like with BTW I loved ARTPOP tho.. Musically she always delivers for me, unless she releases more ugly sounding songs like dope and tihty + the fillers and botox on her face are overshadowing her achievements as of lately (yes the "GP" notices it too, dont be delusional) So.. TF, TFM, and BTW all had something to say some big concept that tied it all together. ARTPOP did too, but it was so flimsy lol she really wasn't trying to say anything with that album. "it could mean anything" lol I could see her singing about fame again, as her experience with it has changed so much. Also I'd love songs dealing with the TIHTY issues as she clearly has a lot of passion about that. I agree with the poster who thinks this will be her most personal album to date. As far as the sound I don't expect a 'new' sound or anything groundbreaking, I expect a lot of actual instruments, great studio band, lots of piano. Upbeat tracks on the album to have a disco 70's vibe but be minimal and classic. I would LOVE darkness inspired by the Countess, but I don't really feel like she is gonna go dark, I also don't really expect a new 'look,' I think it will be more of the Gaga we have gotten to know the last couple year. But maybe I will be wrong and she will come totally reinvented and shock/slay us all! The songs will be good though, we will love it! But the Gaga of old is not coming back. The fillers were sexy in 2012-2014 not now she over did them and added botox to ruin her beautiful smile and expressions.. Eric Seay 64 Posted April 14, 2016 Share Posted April 14, 2016 I feel like it could be her best album yet, im sure she's learned from past mistakes, has a better team, ever growing love with Taylor, countless awards recently despite being a bit lowkey before the album comes, not to mention so many people STANNING lately (oscars, superbowl, golden globes, bla blah) just seems like shes in a much better place now then ever. The fact that its taking its time just makes me feel more confident...i dont know about everyone else but i kinda like the idea of going back to roots in a sense, like elton said. 👌 As for the people bitching about it not being here yet, she never gave an exact date, just said its this year, and soon. We just gotta take that and wait, it is what it is 😊 she wants to make something quality, not just push out some garbage because everyone else is releasing stuff too... She drops the Gaga formula and takes bigger risks than basically rehashing one of her past blueprints for a song and/or album. 2. She milks that formula and we basically get ARTPOP 2.0 3.
