Do people think he's just gonna hire the first person that walks through the door lol. Of course you're gonna need a resume with references and of course you'll need to have certain qualities that match the job i.e. hardworking, have initiative, have good customer service skills (which you don't really need experience to naturally have). He or someone else will most likely hold interviews to get the best people for the job. He's not gonna hire someone who is clumsy on their feet, can't talk to customers and is only there for the possibility of meeting Gaga.

You need to start somewhere to "get experience" and small restaurants/bars are usually the first place young people go to get their first job. Him targeting Gaga fans is because they are the ones that know about the restaurant and follow him on twitter. Of course the job is not exclusive to Gaga fans, he's just using the pool of people to get the word out that he has easy access to.

working at a restaurant may require u to be attentive and work quickly but you dont exactly need a PHD for it
