Why are the expectations so high? This album could be her worst work for all we know.. I can just see the tragic meltdowns. I think BTW was worse than TFM, and ARTPOP was worse than BTW, and the uninteresting Jazz album was worse than ARTPOP. So ever new album became worse and scheißier than the previous one, this is why - theoretically - you are right and that's why I agree with you. I WANT Lg5 to be AMAZING but judging the past it will rather not. Of course we all have now our personal imaginations how it might be and that's why we are dreaming 'cause we CAN DREAM and as long as the album isn't released, we cannot be disappointed, that's why we are so positive. But deeply, you are right. Your boyfriend comes over with a bit of gun oil Says he wants to step on new soil
venusfly 17,885
As long as she doesn't go with the terrible EDM production then it won't be like ARTPOP

hELXIG 43,035
I get the feeling a lot of fans are only fans because she's popular. They don't actually care about the music, or even connect with it on a deeper level. They only care about the music if it's charting well. Because... I don't know why. Y'all tell me. Because you like having bragging rights when 'your fav' is dominating? Because it makes you feel special that the one you stan for is on top? Because to you music only has worth if it is well known? I'll never understand these ideas. Some of us love the music because they appreciate art and music, and something that was created from the heart of a passionate woman who they feel a connection to. I know that I would absolutely still have Born This Way's lyrics etched into the deepest walls of my brain if she only sold 100 copies of the album. If she didn't have all her number 1s and awards and accolades, I would still be a fanatic monster. If the whole world didn't pay her any attention and she was a total underground artist who wasn't played on the radio, I'd still search out every single interview to listen to her speak. And I think that defines the two types of fans. The ones who are here for the music itself, for the connection they feel to her poetry and instrumentation and the artistic integrity of her work. And those who just are here to 'stan' for their 'fav' so they can feel some sort of twisted bragging rights. So they can get a sense of second-hand achievement by living vicariously through her success. It's the music not the f*ucking bling people. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. hELXIG 43,035
Just click this. "And it's like... that's what the f*uck it's all about" This is the feeling I'm trying to describe. A connection to music. Not a connection to someone's status or fame or power or success. When music can heal your soul and change you as a person, that is what it's all about. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
Tommy Monster 846
Well, my experience was like this: TF - good, but not great TFM - Perfection BTW - dissapointment ARTPOP - Slayage So, if she continues this trend, LG5 will dissapoint it´s a pattern, not so good, great, not so good, great
MelbHawker 6,583
Why would you even ask questions like that? It's like saying 'the world might end tomorrow'. Like yas it might but it f*cking won't.

Pacify Him 9,073
1 hour ago, Son of ARTPOP said: Could you explain your view more thoroughly. I found it very interesting so I'd appreciate it to hear more on that. Sure, hun. Let me start with a recap of some of the things that happened in ARTPOP and what she said about LG5. She broke off with her manager mainly because of the things he made her do but never wanted to. Some things may be personal between them or the fact that she is a hard-worker who gets things done but always being pushed to the limit without enough time to make a proper album in between tours.. This might explain when she said LG5 is going to be even better than all the things she has done in the past as Lady Gaga because she finally has some time to perfect her next album. Then, I could explain song by song in the album for you. While they definitely served as her inspiration for each one of them, no one could really dismiss that they are real problems for her. The songs that really showcases her creativity and probably what the album should've sound like were Venus, G.U.Y, Sexxx Dreams, and MANiCURE. But the answer to your question comes from Mary Jane Holland, Swine, Donatella, Dope, DWUW, Aura, and ARTPOP. Mary Jane Holland, to me, sounds like she is labeling herself as a wh0re of the industry. This song explains her full transformation hence the, "brunette starts to sprout". Also, weed might be her way to escape kinda. She has that pic wearing weed clothes (lol) and she looks so drunk in it too. Dope. Why did the original song (I Wanna Be Wih You) even change? Does she hate it so much or that her management was in complete control of what she does? The original song made more sense. Now the new one seemed to be her cries for help. Think about it. She might be overdosing on some of that stuff. Swine, this song is her f*** you to the management. She has had enough and she wanted to be a bad b!tch about it. Also, Pigrez Hilton Aura, in correlation with Swine just basically saying she is a tough cookie. Unafraid of anybody. So she gave us 3 years before the next album DWUW. Same thing. But being a pop icon is one thing that she will never stop. Didn't she say one time that the only time she stops singing or something like that is when she is dead? ARTPOP. Her entire work explained in one word. It does mean anything (flexibility, difference in style per album) and another beginning has just started. But it's also mock to the industry. Then came Donatella, and look. She sold out on this song. Completely contradicting what she sung in ARTPOP. Why is this even in the album? To make friends with her or that the album required sponsorship? Sound fishy and desperate to me. More sold out songs are Dope, Jewels N Drugs, and DWUW ft the RnB King. I think the album was supposed to end at Gypsy because it explains her whole adventure and how she loved it. Applause felt so extra afterwards. I've no idea whose decision it really is that this made into the album or how it even became the lead single. But I'm leaning more towards that it was because of her management and that saying a fan requested it might be just a marketing gimmick. I might be reaching for the stars tho but this is how I feel about them. I’m getting on your nerves
