I love them all. 1) I will fight for my man. 2) Every man is replaceable. A guy who is treating you like **** should go. 3) Nothing wrong with a spouse wanting someone to put a ring on it and not waiting around for him to do it. 4) Yes, Best Thing I Never Had a song about a man who treated her wrong, so she moved on to another guy. 5) Flawless a song about her saying how she love herself and everyone should think their flawless no matter what 6) Formation a song about everyone standing together to fight issues as well as firing back at alot of people like you and putting you in your place. All sounds good to me. I don't know what you here when you hear those songs.

I'm sorry that her songs could not help your self-esteem. All of those songs are about empowerment and pushing through adversity and loving yourself. You don't like songs like that well that's on you. I have high self-esteem and adore those songs. I find that I can relate to them and not pretentious at all. I'm oh sorry... that Beyonce' loves herself and want other people to...has a sense of humor. I swear you have to be joking. lol All of the things you claim Beyonce' are... you have been showcasing every time you write about her.

And yes, that last bit was totally aimed at me. Rest assured I never make judgements based on people's race. I'm criticising people that give allowances because of race. And it does happen in the industry. Record labels do it, critics do it, the public do it. Black singers just get automatic respect these days even though most of them aren't a patch on the ones from the 90's and before. Don't get me wrong, all new singers in general don't really thrill me but the difference is, I notice the black ones get treated with a whole lot more respect even when they're on the same level or worse. I mean, explain why the atrocity that is Future gets critical praise, for example. You know if a white guy did that kind of music and rapping, he'd be laughed out the door.

When the group was founded under your dad's direction and you're the lead singer and end up having fallouts with the other members...kinda doesn't look good. There was even backstage interviews with her parents where they siad Beyonce had to be front and centre all the time and the other girls weren't being paid the same money. When Matthew was so keen to replace a girl and Beyonce wasn't fighting it, you can see why there must have been some very understandable fallouts. Beyonce was too boosted up, that's why. It was the ego of her and everyone around her that caused all the problems.

I'm not saying those things aren't understandable to complain about. All I'm doing is pointing out that your idea that she never talks down to anyone is false. Talking down is still talking down, even if it's understandable. And when I hear these songs, I hear smugness and self-righteousness. And the only place I can take that is in rap music. Though I do like Ring The Alarm and Flawless has its moments, although it's extremely problematic.

I don't mind empowerment songs, I just prefer ones that don't involve the singer's own ego.
