If anything, people are defending her right to age graceful and ignore misogynistic standards of beauty. I think she should be able to do whatever she wants to her face, free from judgment, but to suggest that it's misogynistic for fans to express disappointment in her choosing to go over board with fillers, that is kind of ridiculous. Gaga has made a lot of her fans feel confident about themselves because she did not give a **** about her appearance and always said to love your body. So I can understand that people might be upset about the fact that she did change her appearance.
JackTheTripper 866
What i am questioning is the point of forum discussion, am i expected to clap and approve of everything beacuse i am fan, and newer ever voice my concern, i would newer take someones right to have free will over their appereance, however this situations raises more than just how she looks, i am detecting bigger problems, and i am strugeling to understand the reason for her to do this, Besides Gaga, we all should at least try to think what is the point to underdo extreme meassures to alter how you look purly for the fact of looking "better" , i believe its the pressure form the outside that makes you do this actions. enhancing and improving yourself with make up and comstic is one think, and i would newer put that in the same basket as surgical procedure in order to please someone elses standards of what looks good, if anything that was the idea that she was known for, so sorry for using expesion as she ****ed up her face, but it was because of shock that this pointles and dangeroud issue is now affecting her, not some reality persone which i have no interest or any respect for, but the person whom i percived as simply to good for this shallow rubbish. If you are not suffering form extreme conditions, plastic surgeree will not make you look better, and it definetly wount make you feel better, its a trap, and dont fall in it. try to understand that pleople

And what makes you think that she's doing this in order to please others or to fit a certain Hollywood mold? Having had plastic surgery or fillers doesn't make less of a person nor does it makes you a Hollywood product. You can age just as gracefully with your face pumped full with sillicone. Heck we should ditch the makeup, stop shaving and live in the mountains.

She's not getting boob jobs, taking a rib out, getting a lipo, using the fat of that lipo to redo her butt, doing fillers until she looks like a hamster, defacing herself to look like someone else... She's having peelings, maybe a laser on her lips...that's so nothing...if you're 30, have the money and have the whole world on your ass to look cute (just look at the reaction ppl here are having when she doesn't), it's absolutely natural that you'll take care of yourself...put yourself in other ppl's shoes, for christ's sake... And it's not really about "being a fan"or not (it could be any other woman in the center of this discussion)...it's about realizing that this behavior, this constant scrutiny of what women look like, is PRECISELY what makes them think they need lip injections, surgery, that they need to lose 20 pounds when they already look super skinny, that they need to be constantly naked to get ppl's attention... It's about realizing that "as much as you're having fun shitting on someone else and even though you've found an excuse to justify your actions to yourself, stop acting like you're solving anything, cuz you're actually a part of the problem"... In fact I'd be thrilled if she came out of a clinic tomorrow looking like Amanda Lepore. That isn't the point. The point is, fans who are disappointed in her decision to go to Kim Kardashian's plastic surgeon to have chemicals injected into her face in order to adhere to Hollywood standards of beauty are not being misogyny. Don't pull the misogyny card to shut down conversations, it's not cute.

mic 1,415
Regarding her face - it's her choice and her body at the end of a day. Many of us can agree it looks worse than her natural face but let's keep it classy. I'm just little disappointed she gets more and more of Hollywood gal which she always critiqued so much. People can change so much it's astounding.
