Mess at Robert Plant & Alison Krauss beating out Amy Winehouse's iconic Back To Black. They get it very wrong sometimes.

She actually lost to Herbie Hancock's Joni Mitchell cover album in 2008.

Yes they do. :grr:

21. That's not even a question. It's the only album that truly had the widest appeal and everyone knows. The first four aren't even known outside America and some of the later ones aren't either. 21, Babel, Random Access Memories and 1989 are the only ones that have made any impact. Most AOTY winners are a total joke but at least 21 was an understandable win even if it wasn't my personal favourite. But the others? Heavens above, what are these voters smoking?

Obviously 21 had a MASSIVE impact.....but not necessarily on our culture, at all.

1989 had massive impact, on music and culture whether you like it or not.

I'd say Daft Punk actually helped to change the sound of mainstream music, so they had a large impact as well.

Fearless did not have a large cultural impact, but it was a huge success.

21.

Whether you love it or hate it or think it deserved the Grammy or not, you can't deny it's impact and it's power.
