Woah, that looks cool!  I'm still happy with the performance we got, it was awesome.

Bad choice on their part, although the Miley thing brought them views, it brought more backlash than anything else and it kind of initiated the VMAs' decline.

OT: I would love to see her at the VMAs this year, but I can't picture what it would be like at all though, I'm so used to c2c/hollywood/tihty Lady these days its hard imagining her being Gaga anymore its so weird. I'm excited and ready for her to wake up.

I want it to have the album title announced a day earlier, and then on the next day, BAM! The album out and first single effective airing on radios.

if they do remember, and this applies to people who don't, it's a different time and no ones gonna be remembering ARTPOP really, because it was long ago and there's no need

I am hoping it will come between May 30 - June 15.  That way, if it comes earlier I'll be surprised and happy. Plus I really want Gaga to be the artist of summer 2016 because there's always a few artists who dominate the summer (last summer was Taylor Swift and The Weeknd)  Lately I've been having meltdowns every week and it has been hard on my soul  so I'm trying to believe less rumours.

I kinda like the drama and excitement though   It's fun not knowing anything, but knowing something is on the way.

Realistically speaking, we just aren't getting anything before the end of the summer. And I'm being optimistic saying that - I assume she's gonna need some more time polishing the record after she films her scenes for AHS. At this point, I'm kinda expecting a Christmas release tbh.

I can't help but feeling like there's more to it than just MTV "sabotaging" her performance - it seems to me that this piece would have fitted a song like Aura way better than Applause, which makes me believe that the performance was changed mainly because Interscope asked for Aura to be scrapped as the lead single.

On a personal note, I see many people complaining how the original performance would have been amazing and all that, but I actually LOVE what she ended up doing that night. I just don't really see what's so great with the original plan, compared to the slayage of a performance we ended up having.

She never said she was ***starring*** in the new season of AHS. She actually said she couldn't say exactly how she would be on the show but that she should be returning. To me, that clearly hinted more toward a guest appearance for a few episodes, not a full season.

the detailed description of the original concept had 3:36 as the length from when the song starts to the performance finishing so it was most likely always Applause I think she's talked about it before in an interview wish I could find it again

Well it sure seemed pretty dark and gruesome for an uplifting song like Applause, hence my assumption 

If it was indeed for Applause, then I'm most definitely happy with the performance we ended up having.
