Creyk 17,019
A judge is completely rejecting Kesha‘s emergency order to get her out of her Sony contract with Dr. Luke, her alleged rapist. The 29-year-old singer pressed to get a New York court date, but Sony pushed very hard to get the cast thrown out and the judge has taken Sony’s side. According to TMZ, the judge didn’t buy Kesha‘s “slavery” argument, that she was being forced to work with Dr. Luke, because other producers would have been made available to her via Sony. http://www.justjared.com/2016/04/06/keshas-sony-case-rejected-by-court-judge-sides-with-sony/

TimisaMonster 31,073
Wow oh wow...like...Sony is so evil and manipulative because Dr. Luke makes them more money than any other producer on their label... Money is the motivating factor in all of this at the expense of a young woman having a career and piece of mind Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! For real? She essentially hinted throughout her career that she doesn't want to work with Luke anymore, she cried, in the Luke exec produced, Reality TV show of hers that she can't do party music all the time, and I don't think that she was that happy to sing at the beginning of All That Matters "It's Kesha, lets do it", on a Song of her second album. The judge completely missed the point that she just doesn't want to work with Luke and doesn't want to get his approval for anything anymore. I really hope for her that she get's out of there sooner or later
Bellatrix 34,639
Money hungry a-holes. Where are their hearts? I bet it would sound a lot different if something happened to their own daughters.
Haroon 49,685
Wait if she's not being forced to work with Dr. Luke and "other producers would have been made available to her via Sony." then isn't that a chunk of the problem solved?
LUO YI 6,089
I hope this gets better. Sony can do it but no... they only have to let her work by herself, and take Dr. Luke away. By now her career is ov... sorry. The night sky tells all

Even before the whole ordeal was brought to court, Kesha already had the option to work with other producers. Her problem is that Luke gets a cut of her profits, or something like that. No because she's still under dr. Luke's label and they can decide not to promote or release anything she wants, plus money goes to his pocket. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kemosabe_Records FreePalestine

Brian Ryan 1,468
She should have brought the rape up in the actual case instead of Instagram and other allegations. I am not surprised. You sign a contract, you have to abide by it the court was not even introduced to the rape allegations. You sign a contract and get money. You have to do the job or pay the individuals back. Simple. It works like this for all artist. If she really wants to get out, she is going have to pay that is the law.
