How to Score Multiple #1s with LG5 (RELEASE CONCEPT)

I have an idea for LG5 that could be both creative, bends the rules of how music is sold these days (with single sales being a focus over album sales), and still flushes out the full concept of an album without too big of a concept slammed on the GP at once. I think it would be seen as the most groundbreaking album release style since 2013's Beyonce.

I call it the Branch-Off Style of Release. What if? There is LG5:1, LG5:2, LG5:3, and LG5:4?

Over the course of twelve months, every three months, we get a mini LP (like a book chapter) that his it's own theme that relates to the "trunk of the tree" that is the LG5 concept?

Each LP is 4-6 songs, each with a lead of their own. That way, everytime a new part of the album is released, everything is fresh, no new single has been heard yet, and they all will continue the hype consistently over an entire year, rather than one giant release. This means 4 leads for 1 album, which translates into bigger hype for each of these fresh leads.

At the end, the album would still be 16-24 tracks, but Gaga would have the opportunity to evolve the tone of each mini era without it being messy. She could do one tour for the entire project at the end to bring it all together like a live adaption of the story she told in four chapters.

It also would allow her and her label to have far more freedom, as she could still edit and change latter chapters of the album while the actual album is being released.

I feel like it would create hype like a TV series....what happens in Chapter 2? Chapter 3? Chapter 4?

The music videos would reveal that and keep people intrigued. And if two singles were released off each mini LP...it could translate into 8 Top Tens, perhaps 4 #1s, while still maintaining a sense of creative honesty and artistry.

Something like this:

"(S)(I)(N)(G)"

LG5: BEG(S)IN: MAY 2016

LG5:2: REV(I)SIT: AUGUST 2016

LG5:3: REBOR(N): NOVEMBER 2016

LG5:4: FI(G)HTER: FEBRUARY 2017

THE (S)(I)(N)(G) BALL TOUR: MAY 2017

What do you think?

i'd love it, but only if there's only one edition of every ep, not one special for japan, one with bonus tracks for Walmart, etc.

If only Gaga still were ahead of everybody and took creative risks like she used to...

Kind of like Robyn's Body Talk series?

She did this? Or something similar?

She did a Body Talk Pt 1, 2 and 3 and then released a final one called Body Talk and it was all the best songs from the 3 parts and a couple new songs. Each were treated as individual LP's. Google it, they were good albums!

I mean...that's the only Robyn album title I remember off the top of my head so it must have worked well.

Was it commercially viable?

Because this is a good idea for Gaga to release an album. In chunks rather than one massive message all at once.

I love the concept. The 1975 (english pop rock group) has done the same thing. the 1975 has released 4 EPs with their own singles and after few months, they have released full album with songs from all eps and some exstras

The lead singles, 'Dancing On My Own', 'Hang With Me' and 'Indestructible' were all strong leads aswell, the albums had so many bops :woohoo:

BEG(S)IN?

and I think it would be great for singles, but terrible for album sales.
