SISTERV 3,887
So if anyone noticed the reference Nile Rogers made tonight in his pic with Gaga saying "that voodoo we do"....that is a famous line from Frank Sinatra's jazz song, "You Do Something To Me". It's pretty ****ing obvious at this point what they just hinted at, and considering Gaga did a Frank song not to long ago....I feel like this is a MAJOR hint. And a credible one. I also don't know why Gaga would cover a Frank song on a new Chic dedicated album, and considering Nile is a disco producer, I think we can put two and two together. LG5 is disco instrumentation meets jazz vocals. It's Cheek to Cheek meets The Fame. Here is the song they referenced: It also would make sense considering her twitter header pretty much says this (and has since she started writing) And it's all coming together right now....this would actually be very groundbreaking. A jazz record, but danceable, glazed with punkish dark lyrics (like Elton John said its like Bad Romance). LG5= Jazz(vocals)+Disco(instrumentation)+Punk(Lyrics). It's basically a mix of TF/TFM/C2C!!!! I'm actually kind of excited about this and it does seem to be the most realistic direction she is going in. *****Don't say this is cryptic or delusional. Barcode and 1986 is assumptive, cryptic, self hype. The difference is that this is a very specific reference, to a very specific song. Why would they reference this song for absolutely no reason? Brainiac 10,998
Or he could have just felt like quoting that song and it has absolutely nothing to do with the sound of the music they're currently making.

Hmmm......that just seems random. I honestly feel like, the way he PURPOSEFULLY quoted that line, and how it perfectly fits the narrative her twitter account says....IDK...it doesn't seem delusional to assume this to me. At least ...it's the only LG5 fan theory that makes sense and fits what we know. I just don't understand why he would reference a song randomly when he is taking a pic, with Gaga, in the studio. That would be worse than teasing us...that's straight up trolling.

SISTERV 3,887
Just now, BloodyMonster said: "My fans think everything is cryptic" But this isn't cryptic. He straight up referenced a very specific song. That's not cryptic. People saying 1986 is cryptic and delusional and assumptions. This is a LITERAL reference. (Flop stan i know lol) The Legend of #BARCODE I feel like it really became a movement for about two weeks. It still remains the most joked about rumor because people were actually liking it and it then became the butt of every joke in late 2014 early 2015 on here. Someone started a rumor that Red One and Gaga were making a record you had to scan or something to hear. And the theme of the record was about going to the bar and what happens and it being a big metaphor for how an artist mine as well be scanned like a Barcode because they are turned into products for commercialism.... It just got really hyped. And it was the first one-LG5 rumor that really took off on here. Everyone just #BARCODEd EVERYTHING relentlessly for two or three weeks on this site and alot of new fans were actually believing it.
