But I personally feel like GLAAD have a responsibility to award people that actually deserve it. I can definitely understand your feelings in your post. Who would you like to see win the award? Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
Snow 1,582
I really don't get The topic at ALL?! Well its good to see LGBT advocates and procommunity, but I have to say that any of these youngsters (gaga included) hailed as a vaguard of this topic is just facepalm worthy... I mean even Gaga would've been a better recipient although she hasn't been as active in LGBT issues over the past year or so as she has been in the past. They could've gone for someone who actually falls under the LGBT umbrella, but if they wanted to go for the young pop audience demographic I would've chosen Miley Cyrus. Even though I'm not a fan of her music, I feel like she has done quite a lot in bringing visibility to LGBT/gender issues in an extremely unapologetic way. She even started up an organisation to help homeless LGBT youth.
