No no no no no.  No.   Dolly sounds amazing, but Katy is missing two things:

1.  Talent
2.  Shame.

Dolly was amazing, as expected, and was certainly the highlight of the show.

KP did fine and showed a great deal of potential, but singing next to one of the greats made it abundantly clear that her voice currently lacks both the power (it sounds like an underpowered pipe organ) and technique (wobbly, inconsistent vibrato) to excel at the genre. 

Country, when sung well, can emote and express pathos; when sung by Katy, it sounds like second-tiered pop...

They were lovely, especially Dolly! She looks AMAZING! And Katy did just fine, but obviously she as an Enemy number two here gets no compliments. 

And you can talk about vocals as much as you please but country doesnt reguired huge vocal pipes, even Dolly doesnt have then (though she has pitch perfect delivery, where Katy was a bit unsure at times, apparent in doing harmonies). But anyway, country would sound absolutely dredfull if over sang, screamed, belted and howled through...

That was so underwhelming.... it lacked any energy. The only thing that made me feel was Dolly's sequinned coat. Yas bitch.
