The ones that consider Bad Romance as her signature are mostly stans. I'd recommend y'all to go outside and actually interact with people to find that out, instead of sitting in front of your computer screens 24/7. I mean, if she was capable of writing such an amazing song all those years ago, imagine what she could do now. As far as sales and success, I think it's possible. She may not be the "it girl" anymore, but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss her ability to write another smash hit that would please both the fans and the GP. Then again, maybe she doesn't give a crap about pleasing the GP, and who could blame her, given how quickly they turned their back on her after BTW. Yes! I think the promo will be on point the next era. We will certainly have videos for all the singles! Her voice and the public's perception of her have never been better. When she releases the new single this year I have confidence in her making a great choice and it will very likely slay. The potential audience she could have can be huge, with more people of various ages and backgrounds because of the work she's the past 3 years. Spoiler You just can't ignore the fact that everyone was talking about it (either in a positive or negative way, but same happened before so it's nothing new), sold a **** ton of copies and only the audio itself had around 90 million views, with the music video having less because it was too long. (after Telephone and Alejandro already been released) Spoiler she also could've had another huge single with DWUW getting it's proper release. The song was extremely fresh, interesting and fun + it was a side of gaga the gp had never seen before (unlike applause, which ressembles her previous work) something similar could've happened with Aura as her comeback single. We all know everyone went batshit crazy when it leaked, even a few radio stations were playing the demo. what I'm trying to say is that she doesn't need to surpass Bad romance or whatever has been big before to be in her best again. She pretty much got the highest critical acclaim in her career after the Sound of Music performance, and the GP is waiting for her to make pop music interesting again. In terms of impact, that's a very tall order, and it's not the kind of thing that can be calculated. The timing, the sound, the visuals... everything just needs to be "right," whatever that means. If she can find something like him again that really wrankles her up to the point that she gets this emotional? That's when she'll top it. She just needs to find that well of inspiration again and it needs to be one people can relate to. Not many people can relate to being fabulously wealthy and Gaga has a hard time articulating it super well. She gets the really base-level things well, though, sex, love, betrayal. Look at GUY, Sexxx Dreams, Bad Romance, Poker Face. Those songs are all super creative even if in varying capacities. The concept of each is interesting to say the least. She just needs to find that wheelhouse of hers again and roll with it. Each album she's had some bad **** happen to her and they all work in different ways on her creativity.
