Is Lana Del Rey, one of the most underrated vocals today?

Do you conisder that Lana Del Rey, is one of the most underrated artist in music today? I mean we live in world where Meghan and Justin win Grammys.. Discuss below!

I happen to think her voice is awful and annoying. But she makes pretty good music

She's definitely improved a lot live since she started, and I love her voice and discography, but she's no vocal messiah imo

I'd say she's underrated as an artist, as a songwriter. Not as a vocalist. Lana is my favorite artist ever behind Gaga, but i have to admit that her live performances are not her...strong point. 

Maybe she sings beautifully when she's alone or in the studio, but, for example, she can't match Terrence Loves You's bridge, neither Off To The Races (and many, many more). She seems always so nervous or uncomfortable...it's a shame, because her music is pure poetry. I mean, i've never been amazed by her live performances as i am with Gaga's. I like to think that she really sounds like that when she's at the studio.

About the Grammys thing...i said this plenty of times: Grammys are a popularity contest, it has nothing to do with quality. In rare cases, both factors match (Gaga, Adele, MJ). The most popular you are, more chances you have to win a Grammy (Meghan, Taylor, i'm seeing directly to you).

When it comes to Live performances, i agree that she's being nervous especially when she's performing on festivals (bigger places), but for example we have videos of her performing in smaller places, where she kills it. You should check this out -

I think she a amazing songwriter and poetry.. Better then gaga:).. Gaga songwriter are ok.. Tbh .. Yes gaga right her own music but her lyrics are not the best. Lana del Rey write amazing poetry. Her style is so unique:) but her live performers is not her best. I love gaga and Lana deal Rey they my two favorite artist of all time. 3 is marina and the diamonds lol

Pop music will always get more attention. I don't think she is "underrated" when Megan and Justin win grammys because they sing pop songs which are more popular. The point of their songs aren't about vocals.

She makes beautiful music and I love ha aesthetic.

Mmmmmh. Still, i'm not convinced. She sounds shaky, fragile. Ride was good tho. But 0:38 is BEYOND tragic.
