Lord Temptation 11,209
Gaga sang the sh*t out of Born This Way. She also sang the f*ck out of Do What U Want. And what the hell was Cheek to Cheek all about?

Lucas 27,321
And it's great like this, she can showcase her vocals during tribute/duet etc... and give us something easy to sing along in her pop albums

hELXIG 43,319
Might I also just say that her music is about more than just showing off I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
Nirvana 2,713
Actually I agree with you to some point... I mean, I'm not saying that her former discography doesn't show her vocals (and actually in live performances they shine so well) but it could be great to hear a power ballad for example to showcase her vocals even more in LG5. And make it a 2nd or 3rd single, just to show the GP her talent even more. But on the other hand, the comment tells that they clearly have not listened to her live performances or have not listened to her albums, because there are songs that showcase her vocals... Maybe that comment also tells something about the general view of female pop singers?
River 117,767
Another proof that the many singles were bad choices.. Those people know her only from her singles, not the albums.. so when they hear songs like Judas, GUY, Telephone etc. they don't hear her vocals abilities.. they hear "another pop girl who wants to be famous"... So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
Americano 31,061
She shouldn't base her career on critics. Her fans know she can sing, and they're the ones fueling her success.

Gaga shouldn't care about people who are so dismissive of women in music anyway.
Alien Tulip 12,428
I never cared about her vocal capabilities. I do love her earlier work like electric kiss and captivated in which she was her best as a vocalist but to me what matters is the song itself. If she's focusing on her vocals but the lyrics and melodies are **** then I don't care. I like the fame, the fame monster and born this way and that's all that matters to me.
