Flash Delirium 1
because ballads and mid tempo songs can't be pop songs and everything uptempo is dance music right?

I think we will get 2-3 typical Gaga Songs, tho.
River 117,341
TIHTY was 1st on the dance chart, so even her ballads are dance hits.. *The ballads/jazz era was just to buy the GP again anyway..* So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

I mean it's a good plot for a music video but plenty of stars who were huge are now gone from the mainstream eye despite their many attempts to have a grand comeback. The "GP" will love Gaga again if she delivers great radio hits. It's no rocket science. The only problem is that artists' success and popularity these days are in the hands of the radio. Who's to say if the radio will play Gaga's new single? We don't know but one thing I am willing to bet on- they definitely won't feel the urge to play a new Gaga song like they did back in 2009-2013. Hope I'm wrong.

Hope I'm wrong. So negative. Gaga doesn't care about radio hits. Only people like you do. Gaga wants her music to have a life-changing impact on people. You will rarely get that with a radio hit. And yes Gaga did predict her rise and fall and rise again in 2009.
Ziggy 11,874
You know you can have midtempo "bops", right? Like, not to sound condescending, but there are plenty. Rap music isn't particularly fast, but plenty of people bop to that. Hell, even Uptown Funk is a pretty danceable song. I don't think the songs on this album will be particularly like her old stuff because EDM is a little tired and most of the contributors on this album are NOT EDM at all, but there'll be danceable tunes. I mean, Elton didn't get famous purely for ballads like Candle in the Wind. He had other songs too that were much peppier. Why else would Gaga bring Niles, RedOne and Ronson on? Niles produced Bowie's most commercial album that was easily the most "fun" and upbeat of his work, RedOne has always made "bops" with Gaga and Ronson is the go-to producer for fun funk music right now. It'll be a very danceable album, me thinks. Maybe not in the same way as her old stuff, but definitely danceable.

I think you need to look up for the definition of the word. Why do people have this perception that radio hits can't have a life-changing impact on people? Born This Way was definitely a hit and because of it being played everywhere- it's message spread all over the world. If anything, having a meaningful song top the mainstream music is exactly how you make an impact. Til It Happens To You could've impacted so many more people if it was played on the radio which wasn't the case. So back to the point, I'm not sure radio is on Gaga's side anymore. At least not like they were back in 2009-2011.
