I was talking about the fact I want a buzz single, not the actual specifics of the song :toofunny:

I would hate for her to do EDM again tbh :toofunny:

He was at her b-day party, iirc.

Really? That's awesome, if it is true, but I remember their twitter fight and Gaga was very angry. :deadbanana:

She's had enough buzz with all the tributes, Super Bowl, AHS, and TIHTY. Her next hit song needs to be the lead single.

Daenerys

and let's not forget RedOne still wants her featured on his album and if that happens then we're basically guaranteed a non album single

Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen

Much as I'm not keen on these feature tracks, these days, it is a good idea, especially when the artist has been absent for a while. Quite a few are choosing this method to get them a bit of promo in that in-between era time and it's very lucrative. Examples:

Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding - Outside (#29 in US, over 1 million sold, over 3 million ww,  339 million Vevo views)

David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack - Hey Mama (#8 in US, over 2 million sold, over 3 million ww, 671 million Vevo views)

Major Lazer & DJ Snake feat. MØ - Lean On (#4 in US, over 2 million sold, over 5 million ww, 1.2 billion Vevo views)

Naughty Boy feat. Beyonce & Arrow Benjamin - Runnin' (Lose It All) (#90 in US, #4 in UK, about 1 million ww, 155 million Vevo views)

There's many more. Then there's the just getting featured on someone else's hit to get a bit of relevancy back. Xtina has been the queen of doing this recently with Moves Like Jagger, Feel This Moment and Say Something.

I appreciate that Gaga doesn't rely on this stuff and says in her own words, that a solo artist is about standing on your own two feet for the most part, but there comes a time when a little help might be required and could boost you if you've been out of the loop for a while, commercially and literally. I just don't want it to be someone mega generic. Even if it's someone who is bigger in one country, I'm not as bothered. I mean, Runnin' went to #4 and sold over 400k in the UK because it was a Naughty Boy track and he's known in the UK, so the support was given, even if it's not a worldwide thing. It can be a massive feature or a low key one. Just something to give her another hit again. There's really no shame in it. She's got a great voice for house tracks. But if she does go this route, it just better not be Calvin Harris. But it seems unlikely, considering he and Gaga once had a little tiff on Twitter.

Gaga shouldn't play dumb pop games like music simply for the purpose of marketing.
