We're literally ECSTATIC that she finally stood up to all the lying, all the hate, all the deceit coming from her opponents. This is the tone we've wanted her to take for a long time. And speaking of those supporters, here's another reminder that she has 2.5 million more of them than Bernie Sanders does, and 1 million more of them than Donald Trump has. They're crazy af, but they know the environment and do their homework. She does and has taken money from them. It wouldn't be hard to come up with a response similar to her Wall Street money response. Also funny, "I am sick o the Sanders campaign lying about me!" as if she hasn't spun enough half-truths and lies about him to open a cotton candy stand. Whatever. No, but the independents, swing voters, and people who don't vote but get inspired to are. Unfortunately, Clinton isn't inspiring new voters nor is she swaying old ones. That is Sanders and Trump doing that. The concern is valid since she is such a polarizing individual. People with little party affiliation aren't all that won over by her because she is more of the same bureaucratic garbage that is already there. Her problem will be galvanizing the Sanders supporters if he doesn't win the nomination because a lot of them would rather not vote or write him in than vote for her. He also attracts certain sectors of the Republican vote that think their party is a s**t show (which it currently is) which is incredibly helpful in a general election. That's the real concern. She has a lead, sure, but if she can't inspire people to come out to vote than there is going to be a problem in November because Dems only do well with high voter turnout. Tresor 1,649 Posted April 1, 2016 Share Posted April 1, 2016 I'm for Bernie, but if it's Hillary vs Trump, I can see Trump winning due to a lot of Sanders supporters just becoming completely indifferent due to complete loss of motivation and faith in the political process and not voting entirely. Ex. I have to travel a few hours to my home state to vote/ orfill out an absentee and I just don't have any motivation to go through that for Hillary (I absolutely would for Bernie), even if it goes against Trump, and I'm not even a hardcore Bernie fan.
