Other companies like HTC are also releasing consumer ready VR, and a natural application for this technology is the exploration of music! It seems to me that some artist is bound to use this in the near future to release their material. Imagine a "visual album" in full 3D virtual reality! Who will do it first? Bolkins 4,125 Posted March 30, 2016 Share Posted March 30, 2016 Something like the Google VR DIY kit for smart phones could be used to create VR-ish/immersive music videos, they're made of cardboard so its got to be relatively inexpensive to mass produce alongside a SE album perhaps. I can see something like it happening in the future, but it would take a long time to create a whole album that has VR/immersive music videos and I don't know if it will be gagz that does it, but it would be so cool though.
