Not really surprising... I'm pretty sure 21 and 25 will keep on chating before she'll be back

Awesome for her! I didn't think 25 was very good, so it will be easy for me to wait. 😎

Bonkers

It's kind of sad the music industry forces people to be "all in" or "nothing".  In reality she would have plenty of time to write songs and record them - it's the promotion ain't nobody got time for.

I knew it would happen. It's clear that music isn't that important to her if it's a chore that she has to put off for a couple of years at a time. I don't get why people want to take time off when their kids are really young. I can't remember anything before the age of 4 and a half (when I started school). I don't know anyone else who does either. So working when your kid is pre-school or younger is perfect. Celebrities go on about "I don't want to miss any of their big milestones growing up." Well, what about all those civilian mothers who go back to work mere months after their child is born? Are they being bad mothers? Are they missing out on their child's development? No, it's just celebrities who live in an alternate reality that believe this. The years when you really need time off if you can get it is when your kids are pre-teen or teenagers. That's when they need you most and when they need to be taught serious stuff that's going to see them through life. But under the age of 11? They can handle one parent not being there constantly. I barely saw my dad when I was younger because he didn't start work until after 1pm, so I was at school then and he didn't come home until 9:45pm, so I'd be almost ready for my bed and he worked everyday most of the time, even weekends. Did I grow up emotionally stunted because he wasn't always around? No, I had my mum (who worked 9-5) and treasured the time when he was there. Two parents working and school - that's life for most of us. Adele might think she's so down to earth, but she's just being like every other new-age celebrity who thinks being a good parent is a 24/7 requirement. Want to be down to earth? Put your kid in school and go to work, just like a civilian mother would do, regardless of how much money she has. This isn't to put down housewives by the way - I'm just referencing what the majority of civilians have to do, whether they like it or not.

I really want to know what these celebrities do when they're on these long breaks, essentially unemployed, especially the ones who have no children or the children are of school age. They must be bored out their skulls. It genuinely fascinates me as to what they do. I doubt they slave away doing chores.

Adele prepares to take 'five-year hiatus from music following world tour in order to spend quality time with young son Angelo'.

She kicked off her world tour last month, performing a staggering 105 shows across Europe and North America.

And Adele is allegedly already planning her next break, intending to take a five-year hiatus from the music industry in order to focus on her three-year-old son with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

A source told The Sun: 'She has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she next brings out an album.

'She’s still very new to motherhood and doesn’t want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear.'

In before she comes back in 2021 with 10m opening sales :derpga:

Nope if she has a 5 year hiatus her career is probably gonna be over. Im kinda questioning wether she will actually be successful or not if she has this 5 year hiatus because thats a long time if you think about it.  So many new music artists will come in. They might captivate the world and when Adele comes knocking on the door people might not answer.

Yet people might get bored of her if she keeps pouring these sad songs. She will still be a great vocalist.

I leaning more towards the idea that her career might be over.

Well, she already survived one break, I don't see why she won't survive another. :gaycat:

If it gets us another hit like Hello I say bring it.

(Plus I don't stan for her so who cares. :green:  Jk, girlfriend likes to take breaks.)

She said in an interview that she promised she would release an album sooner next time and not keep us waiting, so idk about that.

That's great, I hope she will enjoy her time. She knows those moments spending time with her son van never be repeated, and suddenly he becomes a teenager and less likely spend that much time with parents anymore.

So good for her.

She also said she's ditching the album naming after her age in the next era, i guess this huge hiatus kind of fits that

didn't we know this already? this is like, the best marketing decision for someone like that doesn't have diehard fans. she comes back twice every decade, drops an album, the gp thinks she's somewhat original and she gets their coins.

Maybe she does have die hard fans that's why we see it in her sales but it just shows her fans are patient enough to wait.

I kinda agree She's is really an impressive artist but I havent bothered to listen to her albums in full. I love her I am just not interested in hearing anything else besides the songs that are singles.
