ARTPOP especially on this site has a lot to do with ARTPOP flopping and you don't have to be a fool to see that and I am talking about here. I do not even know what ARTLL whatever site. All I know is the album is platinum and so is the first single. You can't do nothing about Rihanna going through her storm at least she didn't give up and came out with a single that if you listen closely explains the situation. Anti hasn't sold one million, not according to Billboard. Her label gave her album away for free and gave those people a couple of months of a streaming service for free along with the deal. If ARTPOP "flopped", then Anti is an outright failure of massive proportions. People discuss artists here, all artists...including Rihanna. Some of those people will have negative opinions about certain artists. That's the way it works. People, that aren't Gaga fans, on other sites are negative about Rihanna's era. It didn't sell one million copies Accept it, a company buying one million copies so that an album is distributed out doesn't count for the sales figure. I'm aware of that... I am also aware of the Samsung deal that puts the album at selling over 1 million the first week and being R.I.A.A. certified. I don't care what Billboard thinks it has not counted albums that were actually bought at one retailer at a time. At the end of the day, hate or love the album sold more than a million copies the first week and certified. The record company got their money from the sales and so did Rihanna. At this rate it will outsell ARTPOP by Christmas and be certified double platinum before Xmas based on sales & streaming. The album is a huge success by today's standards. The first single is a hit single and the second single will also be a hit single and carry the album until the end of summer after that a third single will probably be released sometime in September or October. If you don't like the initial platinum certification thats cool. Many people didn't. Just consider that it can be certified Gold by RIAA at this point based on Sales and streaming and if it continues to smash then soon it can be considered platinum based on sales and streaming and it is this successful despite 1,000,000 people receiving the album for free. Doesn't matter, you were dead wrong before and that fact remains. Anti wasn't bought by individual music purchasers. The era can continue, but it hasn't sold a million copies.
