There's literally no excuse for her attitude, and she have no rights to blame fans for the ARTPOP mess, the major sh!t was with her label. The only prisons that exist are ones we put each other in.. We were a comfort blanky in some way, something she could cling too that was less harmfull than all her other demons. I remember her mother Cynthia mentioning how she wasn't sure Gaga sharing her deepest feelings on stage with her fans was a good thing, but it turns out for her it was. She may have seemed superconfident at the start of her career, but remember she was also so driven by ambition there was no time to connect to her feelings. She just kept going, touring and touring with barely time to reflect. Also the way she dressed, covering her face with bangs, big glasses, masks, wigs and other creations, it was clear she didn't truly believe she was pretty. Not that it made her extreme looks ingenuine, but you could tell there was a certain discomfort about her. She was trying to keep control. This unraveled when she was tired, she was numbing the pain in many ways, bad relationship, alcohol, drugs. Her body was telling her to slow down but she was in the middle of the BTW ball tour. So she clinged to us, sharing our stories, listening to our pain. But this didn't just help, it was also confrontational for her. So when her body finally forced her to stop, there were no more distractions and all she could do was deal with her demons. That was the time (2013) she really 'shut us out' and disappeared. Sadly she was rushed into the ARTPOP era, so the healing proces both mentally and physically wasnt complete yet. The past year she did nothing but things she truly wanted to do and took her time. She let us in again, but with a bit more distance. I feel she's grown up a lot these past years and is starting to learn the healthiest way to deal with her depression and the fame. And I didn't make all this up, these are all things she expressed in past interviews. Just because she doesn't say I love you as much, doesn't mean she doesn't.
