Now imagine meeting A LOT of them after a show where you're supposed to be exhausted 

Yeah, I'd be mentally unhealthy too, but he still should give refunds and change those super expensive tickets for the normal ones

Yes you do... You have to be be nice and make the experience worth it for the fans that paid all that money. If he's not in a fit enough mental state to do that then he'd be dragged anyway. He basically can't win either way. The only ****ed up thing about this is that fans aren't getting their money back.

Plus he's refusing to give people their money back, $2000 for an M&G + the tickets, which he is REFUSING to refund unless the concert tickets are taken away as well. What a greedy leech 

People defending his behavior are trash, he doesn't care about his fans and that's very transparent. 

This post is a perfect illustration of why people need to be more aware and sympathetic towards mental health issues... He's already opened up about suffering from depression and he even touches on it in the IG post announcing this. It doesn't take a genius to see that this guy has big problems. Maybe consider that the fact he looks so bored and 'utterly unimpressed' in previous M&Gs is because of the reason that he's stated and that's why he's cancelled them? Honestly... people are so cynical in the name of just hating on a pop star. Blind.

Yes I agree that the lack of refund is appalling and I would be incredibly pissed if I was a fan or parent who forked out for that. I've already said that.

Gaga who had suffered from depression and mental exhaustion since October 2012, still continued to meet her fans for 4 more months until breaking her hip. And during those Meet and Greets - she seemed the happiest  she has ever been.

Okay, what about Mariah Carey? She still got out to meet fans during her mental breakdown in 2001.

If there is really mental exhaustion, he should maybe cancel some dates and get some rest. He's going to interact with fans either way. No matter if it was a 2000$ M&G or if they talk to him for 20minutes when he's crossing the street.

putting examples of starts who had depression and still met fans is unreasonable because no matter how many examples you state, depression still does not act the same for ANYONE and is not close to justifying why he should meet or not meet anybody. He in particular just cant handle it.

Yeah, but then he should take a break. He had a busy last months. To get a clear mind would be the best thing right now.

yeah, but we dont know what happens backstage, maybe this was something his doctor told him to do at last minute, or maybe he did not agree to the M&G and his label made him or something. they should have waited just a couple of weeks to sort everything out (like the refunds) and then announce it

true! He's not my favorite artist, but I still wish him well. I just would want him to take a real break or reschedule the Tour dates to be more a part so he can get some rest. Even though he may not sing live, he's giving energy each night.

Understandable. If I had the ticket, I would even understand. He's humans. Things happen. I hope he feels better and let the show go on.
