That's really my only criticism. I think it sounds better sped up. It's so slow, it plods along. Anyway, I was surprised she went this route. Yeah, I expected proper choreography, but I thought it would be set in a club, it would be brightly coloured, involve more than just dancers. This is a homage to those old 90's videos where the dance was the one and only focus of the whole thing, there wasn't a plot or acting or even any particular backdrop or different settings. But I was never all that keen on those videos for that very reason - so samey and they just blended into one. There's nothing about this that stands out. She seems very uncomfortable with the dancing, it clearly isn't her thing. I also think trying to present her as sexy isn't working (the bit where she's kneeling on the floor and having a looking back ass shot at one point...) She's not bad looking but she just isn't sexy, sorry. Also, for a song about rebuffing advances, it sure loves to present women sexually. Don't know what was up with that random girl on girl fishnet love-in. It's like we had to be given a dose to sexiness to keep us watching or something. I also don't know if Meghan feels insecure about her weight (ironic for someone who sang about being proud to be curvy), but covering her up in that long coat was a mistake. It makes her look bigger than she actually is and the whole look really ages her. The video looks like it was done on the cheap too. That might explain the lack of changing scenery in it more than an asethetic choice. All in all, bit of a letdown. An all-dance video doesn't really cut it these days. I mean, even Gangnam Style had other stuff going on it than just the famous dance, which kept people coming back. I don't know if this has any replay value, however.
