It has its theme, its simple yet artistic and tells a story without being OVER the top. If All You Ever Do Is Look Down On People, You Won't Be Able To Recognize Your Own Weaknesses. Such a good debut wasted :') I consider this not over the top BECAUSE it told the story of the video in a different way- that and it was about cheering and screaming for her etc... so it needed to be over the top. Looks or sounds that would be impactful and stay a part of pop culture forever if given time to breathe just become another typical moment for Gaga. This time she decided to let everyone understand the message of the song with her emotional voice. I really like it, it's very dreamy and the atmosphere makes it 10x better. Spoiler This one is also one of my favorites, the way she starts with a very basic vocal register but then proves everyone wrong in the second half... it never fails to make me cry.
