I don't think she's wasting it, the whole This Is Acting era isn't meant to be taken seriously she's just singing songs she wrote for others so it's not really about what she's capable of as an artist. I find it's recycled. like she did all these pop/mainstream songs for others but this isn't her sound.. Like, she's an established artist and the last two albums feel so.... Shallow. I know you say "not taken seriously" and "not really about what she's capable of as an artist" but that is literally the definition of an album made for money. I feel the contract behind it.
