Not doing a lot promo, but effective promo; being on big shows and such. And not only in the US hopefully . Spoiler Imagine Gaga performing as the Eurovision interval act. 200+ million viewers at the best time. And I think Sweden as the host this year could pull it off to have her there. Iwontell 7,312 Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I don't think they'll do a surprise release, but I also don't think she'll do her traditional release as well (with that overwhelming amount of promo), bc they should have realized by now that hype only hurts her career (look how ppl bitched about the Intel Grammy presentation, which was the only thing she truly promoted in a long time)...they'll probably make an announcement, but there won't be that usual endless waiting period between that and the actual release... She could just tweet "New music coming in the next few days. Hope you enjoy. Love, LG". Two days afterwards the video is uploaded to YT, the song is sent to radios (with one of those "song of the week" deals, where radios have to put the song on a certain number of times in the day) and streaming services and she does a nice surprise performance on a big TV show (no interview, just the presentation, but it has to be something that'll keep ppl talking - positively - about her...like, if she came with an acoustic guitar and played and sung her new single alone, and the song showcased her voice properly and she looked "cute" while doing it, ppl would buy into it, bc it's not the kind of thing ppl expect of her...if she comes with a troupe of dancers, crazy outfits, electronic music, etc, ppl's reaction will be "ok, but we've seen that already")...
