Swan Heart 7,382
Honestly, I would probably feel the same way. I've always hated collaborations and team work.. If you care so much for your artistic vision, then maybe you should just go solo. I also see his words as more of a compliment. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.
Killa 17,461
Peasants getting above of themselves. These winny kids that can't handle grown up world and come cry, when it comes down to: they lack experience, knowledge, understandment of how the business works. His vision? Please girl, try harder next time.
BuzzcutSeason 3,307
To be honest i see what he means. She prolly made killer songs and changed them to fit the album and in the end prolly butchered some of them (sorry) and obvi some of them remained awesome. Like wasn't ARTPOP supposed to sound totally different? she prolly re worked a lotta songs and they kinda got distorted.
Ziggy 11,762
Lolol Gaga wants collaborators not people with their own vision who make what they want for her albums. She's not some empty EDM voice, she is the artist and product in this business. As such, she is going to dictate the terms because she hired him. It's like you hire a guy to build you a birdhouse and he builds you a pool or some s***t. Like, no bro, wrong.

You're not always going to make music with friends and for friends, it's a profession. And it's in this situation that you show what talent is. Ziggy 11,762
Didn't he work with DJWS on the initial Government Hooker beat or was that DJ WHITE Snake? I get so confused with all these DJs.

Edible Cloud 11,255
I think he speaks of DWUW: But from 2011 to 2013 he used the Lady Gaga name for it personal fame... He was "proud" + "Love" ect... "Sisi ma chérie" = "Yassss my darling"
Edible Cloud 11,255
Confirmed (DWUW mess): "For example, Lady Gaga‘s single “Do What You Want” featuring R. Kelly – the track was really about my own direction and incorporating it into Gaga’s sound. It went from “Snake strictly producing tracks for other people” to “Snake producing his vision for other people’s tracks.” I don’t want to fall into the trap a lot of producers get into in regards to catch up productions." monketsharona 80,348
Actually I think he's more pointing DJWS than Lady Gaga... DJWS is the one who is credited on all of his songs so I guess he''s the one who changed everything
Joshie S 6,068
I think you guys have to remember, the artist has a vision, yes, however the producer also has a vision for the way they want the song they're producing to be - which is why Gaga would have contacted him in the first place. Just like Gaga, this DJ had a vision for the tracks he wanted to create, and I think majority of you are forgetting that, that's his work also, he's putting his name on that, he wants it to be good and be his vision, while collaborating with the artist. I'm not saying he's in the right, but I'm not saying he's wrong either. The melody that you choose can rescue you ♥
yes and 4,884
I want to listen this tracks Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No
MelbHawker 6,583
I wouldn't say he denounced Gaga's work methods you guys. He just doesn't understand what producing for a global icon actually entails. If he wants to make his own music, then he go right ahead and work on his own. I remember in 2011, the team was saying how Gaga asked White Shadow to send her some stuff and then when he sent Government Hooker she just came in and sang over the initial track. I guess, to that end, it makes sense that DJ Snake would be credited since he had to have done a pretty substantial amount of the work.
