Economy 49,568
Well producers are helpers and tools to make music but they are not the artist so of course its not gonna be ur vision lol
Yanko 9,860
"I've done like around 4 or 5 tracks with Lady Gaga, I really can't complain. But it never has be my own vision." good

Indiana 223
I hate when 'less popular' artist turn salty when their work is rejected from an album. Like it's not like Gaga is doing thisto be hurtful, its a f***ing job, your not friends
Supersonic 49,376
That reminds me a lot of what Mark Ronson said about working with Adele. How he thought he was a mighty influential figure already and then this seemingly unknown female indie singer told him to do it her way or f*ck off. We need more women in music like that. I mean why calling a producer if you don't let him giving his own vision of music.. Now I kinda understand why she had DJWS in most of her record... The guy doesn't seem to have a lot of authority... But yeah at the end it's Gaga's record, and she, her manager and Interscope are the one who decide at the end. He is wrong. A producer's job is first and foremost to bring the vision of the recording artist to life. In the 21st century where most mainstream artists are more of a product for record labels to sell than creative beings, that job description may have got a little lost on the way. Yes, that includes putting forward ideas for the artist to consider but if you're working for an artist (especially one as creative as Gaga) and get upset and emotional when your ideas are not used, then you're a fool. It's not his project, it's hers. He's free to make his own record as an artist if those ideas meant so much to him but it seems he has got his role confused a little bit. Juvelius 375
I think it is difficult for the artist to choose in the end, imagine how many demos of a song are produced. And the worst thing in music industry is the Record companies that interfere with the work not the producers advice.
