I think it was recorded in HD tho, even the Confessions Tour and the Blond Ambition were, 25 years ago. But they maybe didn't even finalize it in HD and just 480p. The technology/platform for internet videos back in 2009 wasn't as fine tuned like today. Internet speeds were a lot slower and there wasn't a reason for large video file streaming. The only hope to getting a HD version is if a TV station like MTV plays it edit: It's like how VHS and DVD's aren't the the same quality and size compared to what is shown in theaters. They uploaded the video for the specific platform and at the time it was 480.
