DJ White Shadow is one of Gaga's most unique producers she has worked with.

'Til It Happens To You could've had a better production if Rick Rubin was part of it. Also, I don't like it when Gaga drags her voice sometimes (This song is an example of that, and that live performance of Venus).

The Meat Dress was one of the worst things she has done, especially the explanation she gave for wearing it.

I liked how flashy the meat dress was, but never understood her explanation for it. I stand by the belief that she came up with a reason after-the-fact lol

THIS! FINALLY

I agree with you about this. It's funny how the interviewer asks her an easy/ short question and she answers with a 10 minutes long explanation. I used to think she wore an earphone for someone to tell her what to say for so long

Yes. This. Saying that she was wearing a meat dress against animals being killed (or something like that, I don't remember very well) sounded so stupid. She could have worn idk, a lettuce dress if she wanted to use that explanation

:awkney:

Excuse me? No

She said the Meat hanging on her dress is the equivalent of the Government's program (Dont ask, Dont tell) for silencing Human rights aka Gay rights. I hope you are at least aware of the Policy. How the Government was shutting every door for anyone identifying themselves as NOT a Heterosexual. Starting with the discharged soldiers. Now if the pieces of Gaga's dress were not meat but flesh of the Soldiers who died protecting your country could you point out and say which came from a Gay soldier? Or which one didn't deserve to be there as a Martyr? The Meat dress was never about the Animals. It was about upholding human rights. The explanation Gaga gave about it was one of the most beautiful things she's ever done. She caused so much controversy over it which resulted in so much uproar against the Government Policy.

Respect the Meat Dress.

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half

My eyes are bleeding at some of these responses :saladga:

But anyway...Swine at the SXSW festival was one of her best performances. So raw and expressive.

I like her Dope vocals.

I hope she does more Jazz albums (especially with Tony).

The Fame, as an album, seems really basic and boring compared to later works, especially ARTPOP and Born This Way which are both filled with rebellious and inspirational songs of personal reflection and activism.

ARTPOP is her best album to date.

I LOVED her puke performance of Swine, is one of my favourites. I want her to do that again.

Sometimes, I miss seeing Tony and Gaga together.

I'm enjoying her now more than ever. I don't miss FameGa.

Ok no wait you're awesome :gaycat:

I was not inpressed by The Sound of Music tribute, idk why people are so crazy about it :hor:

I like her 2009 - 2010 voice and fashion and makeup much more than now :hor:

I think that her fashion and makeup is ugly since 2013 with some exceptions :hor:

- I'm glad Venus wasn't a single. DWUW is FAR superior and thank God Troy Carter (or whoever) made her change the single.

- Some of her recent looks are awful and I truly wonder how people here say she looks amazing...

I agree wholeheartedly about The Fame. I listened to it on the way home for spring break for the first time in months, and wow, it's just so mediocre compared to her more recent efforts. Yes, it's got gems like Lovegame, Paparazzi, and Poker Face but everything else is on par with what others here call "basic pop songs".

And I don't care what anyone says, Born This Way IS her greatest creation! Even Judas, which some see as mistake, was a flawless choice for a single and I adore it was released on Good Friday (I think) because it fits the meaning of the song to a T!

I also love Cake and Jewels N' Drugs, they're absolute bops, and I hope we get to hear more of that sound from Gaga.

Bad Kids is an amazing song and I really don't see how people dislike it. :crossed:

The bridge is great but other than that it just doesn't sound all that good

I'm not sure if this is as unpopular of an opinion as it used to be a few years ago, but I legitimately understand Madonna's shadiness towards Gaga. I mean, put yourself in her position: You're a living legend, and all of a sudden, a newcomer pops up out of nowhere, and you find her constantly being compared to you or associated with you in some way, and everyone wants to know opinion about her. It had to be tiresome and frustrating. I don't necessarily think Madonna's shadiness was aimed at Gaga herself but rather at the public's constant comparison of the two.

I legitimately loved the C2C era and am excited at the prospect of a follow-up album. :green:

I think a lot of people have forgotten about it now, but I also legitimately loved Gaga's cameo in Sin City.

I LOVED Skype Ball, and let me explain why: You could tell throughout the whole process that Gaga was completely over it and pissed off, and I love that it was so obvious. I've noticed in interviews that she can sometimes fake enthusiasm, so it was refreshing to see her adopt an attitude of "F**k this, I'm out."

I get the feeling that especially on GGD, it's considered unpopular to actually enjoy most of what Gaga does and that if you do, you're considered a mindlessly devoted sheep. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed roughly 99% of all of Gaga's work and that the only missteps that have left me unhappy were the failure to release DVDs for the BTW Ball and artRAVE.

Brb, following you :gaycat:

And yes, love for Cake and JnD  both of those songs give me life. I nearly wet myself when it started at the artRAVE opening night

Oh another one, even though I never saw it thanks to FlopNation snubbing NC, I thought artRAVE was an amazing tour; minus a few questionable costume choices and her inexplicable decision to cut Fashion! and almost all of her singles from BTW from the set list :neyde:
