Her new elegant and pretty red carpet looks are a step back and make me feel like she has given in to the industry's beauty standards rather than rebelling against them and inverting them. She should not give up on dance music. It's been around since the 70s, there are ways to make it fresh and not dated even if retro/minimalist/soul sounds are in at the moment. Photoshopping herself in pics and editing her body in videos is OK. We are creating art and fantasy, not reality. If making yourself an inhuman ethereal beauty or giving yourself an unnatural body adds to your vision, do it. We as viewers and consumers should assume all visual products are edited and unreal, treat them like paintings, and not compare ourselves to them, but appreciate the artistry that goes into creating artificial beauty and glamour. Anyway though I'd like her to be more relatable when it comes to interviews. She's so alienated, which is sometimes interesting but not always I loved the C2C era and all its performances (even though I felt relieved when it ended because it denoted the arrival of the new era which is yet to come lmao) I really hate the fact that she smokes. Yea I know it's her body etc but she has such a great talent and sinning against it, is the worst possible thing she can do if you ask me. I hated the David tribute Overall, Gaga is still one of the best artists of our era. Dare to deny that fatties. Better than your favs, more talented than your favs and more iconic than your lazy ass favs. Prepare yourselves for LG5 for it will rip your weaves apart! People should go make their own art for a change instead of complaining that somebody else isn't living up to their standards. And to those that say "Gaga is a public artist we have the right to complain and she signed up for it", thats not true. Artists sign up to share their work with others and find an audience that appreciates their work, they don't sign up to be ridiculed or berated.
