suprisingly she did not receive a huge backlash for this. Only Demetria tried it lol

I actually love this show. I feel like it was probably the lowest point of her career so far, not in terms of quality, but the reception of it. It's like she was spinning out of control and literally rebelling against the constraints that Troy Carter had put on her. Everything about the performance was desperately trying to ruin her own reputation, and I kind of love the rebellious nature of it and how imperfect and messy it is. It sums up the era of ARTPOP in a way.

With that said, I am glad the public seems to have forgotten about it. :lolga:

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

When you say everyone you mean her fans, the GP didn't even acknowledge the performance. I thought it was iconic, it was more artistic than ARTPOP. :emma:

I actually loved this show. It was one of my favourite moments of the ARTPOP era, probably. So raw. Can't believe it's been two years!

I liked it

it was great but I'm glad it happened in an already messy era like ARTPOP, I wouldn't want something like that for LG5

My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

It was 110% pure rock and roll. Brilliant. The iTunes performance of "Swine" is one of the best she's ever done, period, and this one was almost as good.

But while it was happening, all I could think was "Holy shït, she's actually lost it."

The morning after, all social networks and news sites went crazy and my first thought was something like: "it's just another "shocking" perfomance" and then I watched it. I felt kind of (party)nauseous after watching it but after few hours I rewatched it again and I kind of liked it unitl it became iconic. :awkney:

My experience being a fan through The Fame - Born This Way was that there was nothing that she could do that would put me off her, I lived for everything she did. When ARTPOP came around it became a struggle being a fan of hers, there was so much waiting and things were left up in the air for us. After a whole lot of nothing she presented us with the SXSW performance. It was hard to watch and for the first time in my stanning life I didn't understand her at all. There was no reason behind it and I genuinely thought she lost it. That day I was ready to hand over my stan card, it was over for me. The next day the SXSW Interview happened which turned things around, I understood her intention and found it really remarkable. I can look back on it now with slightly fonder memories but it really was a damaging martyr-esque moment.
